Jerzy Marzec

Company founder, head of the revision and proofreading department

M.Sc. in power engineering, graduated from the Faculty of Metallurgical Machines at the University of Science and Technology in Cracow, Poland (AGH). Accurate, meticulous and inquisitive. A visionary spirit who was not afraid to start his own business in the time of political transformation in our country, back in the ‘80s of the XX century. Today, a nestor of the business, guarding the high quality of technical translations. Privately a fan of nature, mountain hiking and sightseeing, mushrooming and the peace of forests. In his spare time, he trains his grandchildren in chess.

Danuta Marzec

Head of Administration

M.Sc. in metallurgy, graduate of the Faculty of Non-Ferrous Metals at the University of Science and Technology (AGH) in Cracow, Poland. Despite the technical profile of her education, she is a brave leader, not afraid of spreadsheets, invoices and complex billing platforms of our customers! Since 1995 she has been taking care of proper work organization, project management, finances, relations with customers and vendors. An efficient optimist. Full of energy, even with a bit of a workaholic jam. Outside of work, a stay-at-home type of person, wife, mother and, above all, grandmother, who makes the best dumplings!

Ewa Zygmunt

Translating and interpreting in Polish/ Dutch/ English and Italian (including certified in NL/EN/PL)

M.A. in Dutch and Italian, graduated from the University of Warsaw, Poland; certified translator and interpreter in language pairs Dutch ↔ Polish and English ↔ Polish. She mainly translates legal texts in Dutch, English, Italian and Polish, including certified translations of various kinds of texts and of medical content. Her desk is a kind of a chaos, she loves new ideas, changes, movement and innovations, particularly technical novelties that save time at work!

Maciej Marzec

His main specialisations are: mining, metallurgy, construction, architecture and automotive industry. Is 2019 he passed the state exams to become certified translator and interpreter German ↔ Polish. His professional motto is: No one knows everything. The point is to know where you can find the missing knowledge.
A real zodiac Taurus: he can hardly stand change, he is fast and decisive when at work, he appreciates routine and structure, he watches out for his money. It’s not easy to make him angry, but if one succeeds, then there is no rescue…

Iza Magiera

She cares for the proper communication in our in-house team. A pro in multi-tasking. She approaches difficult tasks with emotional distance which makes her very efficient.
She spreads her smile because, like she says: “A day without a smile is a lost day” – even when she hardly leaves her chair in the office to do her job as smoothly and fast as possible. She loves hiking – both in the neighbourhood and to further destinations, like Beskidy mountains. No matter where you are, it’s fine if you’re on the move!

Irreplaceable when it comes to files that need to be retrieved. She can dig out any document from archive, just like an X-Files agent.
Her duties include pre-translation DTP and final DTP on the already translated texts. She is like a living encyclopaedia of text editors. She works without hesitation and cares for details. Performance is her middle name.
In her free time, she catches up on movie titles from her must-watch list, which mainly consists of biographical and fact-based movies. She is also a great fan of cabarets. A vegan diet? No way! Aga is a real meat-eater. At first sight, spiky hair and sonorous voice, but, a great pal indeed!
